End of Summer Bash - Rainier Community Center

Yesler Community Center Juneteenth Celebration

"Celebrate Freedom for all Americans on Friday June 17, from 5 - 8 pm!
Juneteenth commemorates the abolishment of slavery. They are serving a BBQ dinner and food from around the world.  They will also have music, and activities for youth".
This event is open to all ages.

Steel Drumming with Jah Breeze

Jay Breeze offers drumming and steel drum classes for free at Yesler Community Center 6/27 - 8/12 and he is also hosting a steel drum summer camp.

Seattle First Tee - Golf



Registration is $79 for your first season. Each additional season in the calendar year is $20

Classes will be taught in groups of 10-12 students and will last approximately 2 to 3 hours. Classes will include all Core Lessons, Rules & Etiquette, and Manners & Playing. Certification will be “progressive” with Golf Skills tests and Life Skills assessments taking place each week during the classes. Pass a written test at sessions’ end and you could be on your way to the next level in The First Tee Life Skills Experience.
